LARRY DOWLING is the pastor of St. Agatha Parish, 3147 W. Douglas Blvd. Workers – parishioners in our pews - are more and more seen as commodities to be used to earn money for employers rather than respected and rewarded well for the work they do. As priests we have a role in accompanying workers, the unemployed and underemployed, on their journey to find work where they are paid fairly for their labor and where the workplace conditions are safe and supportive. Join Larry in exploring the proud Chicago Social Justice Tradition of accompanying those seeking justice in their places of employment. |
